Product Description
Recent studies indicate that water flossers combined brushing are more effective than brushing and string flossing! We do not recommend replacing string floss completely, but we have been very impressed with the Waterpik whitening flosser. Dr. Nejad has been using this particular model since Jan 2019 and found it to be at least as effective as flossing when used correctly.
Whitening & Effectiveness
The Waterpik Whitening name is a little misleading. The “whitening” stems from his high efficiency in removing stains on the teeth surface. We agree with the manufacturer’s claim that this will return your natural whiteness in just 4 weeks by removing hard to reach stains that other products miss. It’s clinically proven to remove up to 25 percent more stains than brushing alone, removes up to 99.9 percent of plaque from treated areas, is up to 50 percent more effective for improving gum health than string floss, and is as gentle as regular toothpaste.
How does it work?
Insert one tablet daily into the flip-top handle. The whitening infuser technology expertly mixes water with a gentle stain removal agent that safely restores your natural whiteness, removes plaque, and promotes healthier gums. The main ingredients in the whitening tablets are Xylitol and Glycine. Glycine is a perfect abrasive, being a natural amino acid with abrasiveness ideal for removing plaque and stains without altering or damaging your teeth.
