In certain cases, no-prep veneers can be made which involve no shaping, or removal of your tooth before the veneer can be placed. However, there are disadvantages to this approach which depend on the clinical presentation.

Ceramic crowns cover all surfaces of the tooth above the gumline. Generally, there are more conservative treatment options but a porcelain crown is always a good option when replacing existing crowns, or when a tooth requires restoration of all surfaces.

The term "Smile Makeover" refers to the process of changing the appearance of your smile using cosmetic dentistry procedures and sometimes surgical procedures. A smile makeover can be achieved with as little as several dental bondings or it may involve extended treatment with extractions, implants, and a full mouth reconstruction. What is the Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST™)?

The Pinhole Surgical Technique is a minimally invasive gum recession treatment. Unlike traditional grafting techniques, PST™ is incision and suture free.

All of the tools and techniques used to perform the Pinhole Surgical Technique were created by Dr. John Chao. Our office is certified to provide this dental surgery procedure for our patients.

How does the Pinhole Surgical Technique (PST™) differ from traditional gum grafting?

Traditional gum recession treatments involve the use of donor tissue or soft tissue grafts in order to rebuild the gumline. This soft tissue would be sutured in place and would join with existing gum tissue as it healed.

While this traditional grafting treatment is effective, comparable results with better patient experience can be achieved through the Pinhole Surgical Technique™.

The Gum Lift, also known as esthetic crown lengthening, is a procedure which improves the appearance of excessive gum display (gummy smile). There are a variety of methods to perform the Gum Lift, depending on the clinical scenario.

The lip lift is a plastic surgery procedure performed to shorten the upper philtrum (the area between the nose and pink part of the lip) to give you a more youthful/beautiful appearance of the lower face and mouth. Invisalign is a clear alternative to traditional braces. This orthodontic treatment straightens teeth by using a series of clear, custom-molded aligners, without metal brackets, bands, or wires. Invisalign can be used to treat the vast majority of common problems for adults and teens. It is successful in treating crowding or widely-spread teeth, as well as more complex issues including overbites, underbites, and even crossbites. Since the aligners are virtually invisible, they won't draw undue attention to your mouth like regular braces. Also, the aligners are removable so you can eat, drink, brush, and floss normally.
